Grab a Bite to Eat at KajunEatz in

LOUISIANA AND TEXAS 

KajunEatz is a new business in Carencro. However, it’s a little different than most businesses due to the fact that it’s on wheels. The KajunEatz Food Truck is located daily in and around Acadiana.Were coming to Texas soon!! super excited

Owner, Chance Gonzales, was working as an inspector at Sanchez Oil and Gas in south Texas when he got into the food truck business. He stated, “I learned to cook from my parents. We all know there is nothing like momma’s food. I decided that I would bring Cajun dishes to south Texas.” 

Since opening KajunEatz in Carencro, Chance has seen people drive from both near and far for a taste of their specialty dishes. “ I always loved crazy names,” said Chance. “When I started making certain dishes, I implemented cool names that our customers would remember. For instance, our goal is to have someone say, ‘Hey, the other day I went to Kajun Eatz and I had them Couyon Friez.’ The names on our menu have a ring to it. Couyon friez is our most popular item. It has crawfish boil chicken bites with cheese, ranch and of course our special sauce Fiya Sauce. The sauce is something that I came up with by mixing the right ingredients to have that sweet flavor with a hint of spice. In fact, we are in the process of getting it bottles by a manufacture to start selling at food truck and stores. We also have a boudin burger, crawfish boil tender burgers, Fiya chicken tacos, Fiya shrimp taco and don’t forget about out Ta-taunt items, made with fried cajun sausage. Our slogan here at KajunEatz is, ‘We’re worth a cheat meal.’” 

Chance’s goal is to treat every customer as a friend at KajunEatz. He and his wife, Jenni, are in the process of opening two other KajunEatz food trucks in Lafayette,Louisiana, Kemah, Texas and now in Conroe,tx @THE TABLE MADELEY. A lot more in the future for KajunEatz.
